Vintage Sewing Machine Scoring Model

Here is the most recent version of the scoring system. Please keep in mind that there are some requirements listed below and this model is focused on a new maker deciding on a first Vintage (and some not so Vintage) machine. Have fun and let me know if you see something that looks off.

Even better, request a change to a current machine or add a machine that's not on the list through this form.

    I disagree with this list. I have had Elnas and I believe they are the best. I've worked with all the top 7 and they don't compare to the quality and stamina that an Elna can deliver. Also, you"ll be able to hand down your Elna to multi generations and it will still be working hard.

      Do you have a favourite Elna? I'm deciding between an Elna Supermatic or a Pfaff 332. Open to advice
